PARENT ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE BOARD

      

The Parent-Teacher Association Executive Board is the governing body of the of Pelham Gardens Middle School Parent-Teacher Association.  Some of them also serve as elected members of the School Leadership Team (SLT).  These are the parent members who were duly elected by the other parent members of the Parent Members to be the heads of the PA/PTA and the voices of the parents of Pelham Gardens Middle School. They are tasked with fostering parent participation and involvement in the school, and establishing coordinated fundraising activities, volunteering (or soliciting parent volunteers) for school events, fostering relationships with local businesses/organizations for potential sponsorships of PTA activities and setting/managing monthly parent meetings.  They also represent the school at district meetings and represent the parents at School Leadership Team (SLT) meetings.

On December 11, 2023, The Executive Board of the Pelham Gardens Middle School Parent-Teacher Association ratified updated PTA Bylaws.  You can view the PGMS PTA Bylaws here.
